In the aftermath of Mohbad's recent demise, authorities are yet to exhume the late singer's body for a crucial autopsy. A reliable police source confirmed that the state command is awaiting necessary paperwork from the state Ministry of Health to proceed with this critical step in the investigative process. It is anticipated that Mohbad's body will be exhumed for the autopsy either on Wednesday, September 20, or at the latest, Thursday, September 21.

Mohbad's passing on September 12 under controversial circumstances has left the nation in shock. He was laid to rest on September 13, prompting a public demand for an autopsy to shed light on the events leading to his untimely death, fueled by distressing reports of harassment and assault during his life.

Taking action, the Lagos State Police Command initiated a 13-member committee on Monday, September 19, tasked with conducting a comprehensive investigation into the circumstances surrounding Mohbad's passing. The committee has been given a timeline of two weeks to compile and present their detailed findings, aiming to provide clarity and closure regarding this tragic loss.
