Tragic Discovery of 26-Year-Old Woman Declared Missing in Abuja


In a somber turn of events, the lifeless body of Blessing Karami, a 26-year-old student of the National Open University of Nigeria (NOUN) previously reported missing, has been found in the Karmo district of the Federal Capital Territory, Abuja.


Blessing Karami was last seen leaving her workplace in Garki, Abuja, on September 11, 2023, prompting a search led by her elder brother, Genesis Moses Karami, who traveled from Kaduna to aid in the efforts.


Disturbingly, her decomposed remains were discovered in a bush within the Karmo district, shedding light on the grim outcome of the search. In connection to the tragic event, the police apprehended one Aminu, identified as Blessing's boyfriend, for questioning regarding her disappearance.


Genesis Karami, recounting the harrowing experience, revealed a distressing phone call they received with false information about the location of Blessing's body. Despite their efforts to ascertain the veracity of the call, they faced challenges in reaching the local police.


Today, September 20, Genesis Karami confirmed the heartbreaking news to the public, expressing the difficulty of transporting the remains and the need to bury Blessing in the area due to the advanced state of decomposition.


Meanwhile, a wave of grief and sorrow has swept through social media as friends, family, and acquaintances mourn the untimely loss of Blessing Karami.
