Lagos State Police Command Sets Up Committee to Investigate Mohbad's Demise

In a bid to unravel the circumstances surrounding the controversial death of singer Ilerioluwa Oladimeji Aloba, popularly known as Mohbad, the Lagos State Police Command officially established a 13-man committee on September 18. The committee's mission is to thoroughly examine both the immediate and underlying causes of Mohbad's demise, which occurred on September 12.

Commissioner of Police, Idowu Owohunwa, leading the initiative alongside Mohbad's family members, urged the public to come forward with any relevant information that could assist the investigation. He emphasized that the inquiry would consider all available evidence, including videos, and would not confine itself to specific individuals, expressing the intention to apprehend anyone deemed necessary.

Owohunwa also stressed the reach of the investigation, asserting, "Wherever you are in this world, do not forget that we have access to Interpol." This indicates the extent to which authorities are willing to go to ensure a thorough investigation.

The police boss affirmed that every individual connected to the unfortunate incident would be identified and brought in for questioning. The investigative panel is slated to present its findings within two weeks, shedding light on the circumstances surrounding Mohbad's untimely passing.
