In a recent encounter, popular comedian DatVideoboyy shared his unsettling interaction with Vehicle Inspection Officials (VIO) in Lagos State.

The actor and skit maker recounted an incident where the officials withheld them without valid cause.

DatVideoboyy claimed that the VIO officers insisted he step out of his vehicle before revealing the reason for the stop, a request he contested. Eventually, they informed him of a purportedly 'defaced' license plate. Despite his objections, they retained his car documents.

Expressing his frustration, DatVideoboyy recorded the encounter and dubbed the officials 'ole,' a Yoruba term for 'thief.' Shockingly, an officer physically struck his phone during the recording, causing damage to the screen. The VIO officials departed the scene, leaving him without the return of his essential paperwork.
